ORPHANS' CLUB

VISITORS FROM COUNTRY The official visitors at a largely-at-tended meeting of the Auckland Orphans' Club on Saturday evening were representatives of the sister clubs at Cambridge, Hamilton, To Awamutu, Morrinsvillo, Paeroa and Tauranga. Mr. M. Carr, ex-president of the Wellington Orphans' Club, was also present. Several members of the representative football teams which played that afternoon wore also guests. Professor Maxwell Walker presided. Messrs. Macfarlane, of Tauranga, and Percy Williams, of Paeroa, responded to the welcome extended to the country clubs.
