MORRINSVILLE IMPROVEMENT [from our OWN* correspondent] MORRINSVILLE, Saturday It; is reported that £5210 of the current year's rates had been collected during the month, when a discount of o per cent was offered for prompt payment. This is an improvement of £872 as compared with the sum collected in the same jwriod of 1934, and represents GG per cent of tho rates for the current year. The district fund account is £1867 in credit. PUKEKOHE RESOLUTIONS COUNCIL'S CONFIRMATION [from our own correspondent] PUKEKOHE. Saturday The resolutions by which the rates for the Pukekoho Borough were struck at tho July meeting of tho Borough Council were confirmed at a special meeting of tho council last night. There is a consolidated rate of 2 15-32 d in tho pound and a special rate for tho old town district area of 7-32(1 in the pound*
