It ! hopes le will use them well. The best t thing tiiat can be said is that a worse selection could have been made. The Simla correspondent of the Times jays the new Viceroy will arrive in India to find it in a utate of unparalleled political transition. Indian opinion of the British Act continues to be hostile.
