ATHLETIC CLUB'S DANCE

SECOND OF SERIES The second fortnightly fiance of the Auckland Amateur Athletic and Cycle Club, held on Wednesday evening in tho Masonic Hall, Eden Terrace, was well attended and very enjoyable. The programme was in tho charge of Mr. T. E. Lipscombe. Members of tho ladies' committee were Miss H. M. Storey, who wore a gown of honey and bla&k satin beaute, and Miss V. E. Baird, in old gold satin with black and diamante trimming. Among those present were: —Mrs, C. Linden, wearing floral georgette; Mrs. Burdett, mist blue windswept satin; Mrs. G. Robbiq, black taffeta and silver lame trimming; Miss A, Strahan, Marina blue velvet; Miss H. Hustler, poinsettia red crepe do chine; Miss J. Moore (Rotorua), carnation pink satin beaute; Miss A. Litchfield, garnet red georgette; Miss A. Andrews, military red crepe satin; Miss P. Saunders, cedar brown ring velvet; Miss P. Snellet, coral pink silk georgette; Miss B. Crowder, black chiifon velvet; Miss E. Russell, Marina blue crepe; Miss P. Russell, shell pink satin; Miss F. Wright, flame marocain; Miss K. Browne, black moire taffeta; Miss E. Brown (Rotorua), willow green crepe suede and lame; Miss T. Thompson, white organdie and red velvet sash; Miss N. Little, cherry red georgette; and Miss D. Mead, jubileo blue taffeta.
