RESULT OF HEAVY RAINS SEVERAL GARDENS FLOODED [from our own correspondent] HAMILTON, Thursday Tho level of . the Waikato has risen 2ft. Gin above normal at Hamilton as the result of heavy rains in the upper reaches of the river. Several riverside gardens have been covered and work on the Fairfield Bridge lias- been retarded by the swollen river, otherwise no damage has been reported.
