Barker for inclusion in (lie North Island ladies' golf team to meet the touring British players in Auckland is to be forwarded to the New Zenland Ladies' Golf Union by the executive of (lie Rotorua Ladies' Clolf Club. Mrs. Barker, who before her recent marriage was a prominent member of the Miramar Golf Club, Wellington, has been playing particularly well of lute, and she recently reduced her handicap to four. This year she was the winner of the Rotorua Ladies' Golf Club's open championship and was runner-up in the Auckland provincial championship held nt Titirangi. To-morrow afternoon she meets Miss Dannefaerd in the final cf the Rotorua Club's senior championship, and she has been selected, together with Mrs. .T. Ormsby. to represent the club in the South Auckland tourney for the Edwin Bl.yde Cup, to be played at Cambridge on August 17.
