GREEK MONARCHY

RESTORATION OPPOSED STRIKES IN SEVERAL TOWNS LONDON, July 26 The Daily Herald's Athens correspondent says that strikes against the restoration of the monarchy have broken out in several towns in Greece About 15,000 workers struck at Cavalla, paralysing activity. One hundred deputies and 1000 Athens lawyers and university professors have declared in favour of the republic. Ex-King George is prepared to make conditions for his return.
