HEPBURN'S NEW FILM
BOOTH TARKINGTON NOVEL Katharine Hepburn has returned to Hollywood to begin work on " Alice Adams," which will bo her next picture for KKO. The story is taken from Booth Tarkington's novel, considered by many critics his finest work. Jane Murfin and Dorothy Yost have written the screen play, and George Stevens will direct. His latest work was on " The Nit Wits," starring Wheeler and Wolseley. Fred Stone makes his screen debut in " Alice Adams," and Fred McMurray, whose first picture work was with Claudette Colbert in "The Gilded Lily," will play Arthur ltussell, the role opposite Miss Hepburn. Ann Shoemaker, who is Mrs. Henry Stephenson; Frank Albertson and Charles Grapewin are others who will be seen in the film.
