"MECHANICAL HORSE"

FIVE-WHEELED VEHICLE A novel haulage vehicle is a fivewheeled " mechanical horse," consisting of a three-wheeled tractor or motive unit and a two-wheeled carrier unit, attached tlirough a turn-table. An automatic coupling and releasing device is incorporated. The vehicle is able to turn and manoeuvre in an exceptionally small space and is very usoful for delivering goods in a restricted space. A further advantage is that as the load-carrying portion can be instantly detached, two or more carriers can be used lor short trips and the mechanical portion with its driver can be running continuously. The complete vehicle will turn without reversing in a loft, circle.
