MANY MODERN REFINEMENTS A fine impression of the new Morris Series 2 model was gained in a road test this week. Not only has the car a graceful appearance, but it incorporates many refinements of real value and gives a highly satisfactory performance on roads of all types. It has been prophesied that the Series 2 will surpass even the popularity of the Morris Eight family saloon. It is expected also that like the Eight, the Series 2 will prove to have a very low service charge. No greater proof of the confidence of the buying public in Lord Nuffield's latest product can be provided than in the fact that alreadv a considerable number of the new models has been placed on order in Auckland. A shipment of the cars will arrive about the middle of next month. Besides a suggestion of length given by a particularly pleasing semi-stream-line shape, the new model looks broad and low, vet with ample head room.
