A GOOD LAUNCHING DEAR BOYS AND GIRLS,— Our Little Folks' Page was evidently a success, for the Mail Box has simply overflowed with letters und paintings every day this week and, as for my mad and the mark-cards—well, 1 cant possibly get through the pile of letters still unopened on my desk, so there can be no mad-bag this week! It gives me deep pleasure this week to isnnounce the final cloning of our Anzac Remembrance Fund at a record fi K £lO3 for our three months campaign. Onco again, we have more than doubled our objective, and for months to come the unfortunate men nt the. Mental Hospital will be made a little happier each week by reason of the generous sympathy of readers ot our Pag Jt is a great pleasure, too, to sea the total for our Winter Comforts Campaign xteadilv mounting. We will close it at the end of this month, so will any who Wish t* send in donation, please do so without delay> 1 am glad to say some nice parcels of winter clothing and coverlets have also been sent m to the St. John Ambulance nurses—and some, unfortunately, have also to me 'here, despite my constant requests that this shall not be done! While on the subject of parcels, I would like to whisper a word of one special need. Could anyone send in a woman* nice warm coat? I want it for a special case the wife of a returned soldier, a mother with a lot of young children, whom I often tr, and who has no coat with which to cover her rather thin dress this cold weather.
