Sho was an invalid, and went to Bulgaria in search of health. Now sho has recovered. Sho has only a little money, and wants to see Central Europe. Sho thinks sho can travel more cheaply and comfortably over tho Balkans on horseback than by motor-cyclf*. Miss McCain, an American, has been warned that it may be dangerous for a foreign girl to travel alone over tho route she proposes to follow. Her reply is " The local people go about unmolested. Why shouldn't I? Besides, I love adventure "
