THREE RECORDS LOWERED / German swimmers of both sexes are gomg to make their presence'felt at ne.Tt year s Olympiad at Berliin if performances registered at a pre-Olvrnpic carnival at Dusseldorf can be accepted as a true redox of their swimminc standard. At this carnival one world's and two European records were lowered. Krwin aietas. in fine style, covered 200 metres at breast-stroke in 2in. 42 2-55., clipping l-os. off J. Cartonnet's <[France), previous world's best time, established two years/ago. At breast-stroke, Miss Martha Uenenger narrowly missed the world's rewi-d for women of 3m. 0 2-os established by the Japanese girl, Hiedaka JUaehata, by swimming 200 metres in om 0 4-ss, easily bettering the European record of 3m 3 4-ss.
