NELLIE BRAMLEY SEASON
Theatregoers are looking forward to renewing their acquaintance -with the well-known Australian actress Miss Nellie Branile,T, when Hie Majesty's Theatre reopens to-day for the presentation of the popular American comedy "Scandalmongers." In addition to tbis talented performer the Famous Comedy Company includes Miss Noel Boyd, last seen here with "Let Us Be Gay,' and who had just, completed a successful season with "Nice Gomes On" in Australia, and Miss Nan Taylor, a favourite with Dominion audiences, and well rememltered as the Scotch landlady in "The Wind and the Rain." Mr. John Cameron, who plays opposite Miss Brum ley, came direct from the "Laburnum Grove" company. Other members of aii exceptionally fine cast are Messrs. Owen Ainley. Stanley Holah, Wilson Ewart and Moncrieff McOallum and Misses Joy Langridge and Elizabeth Ramsay. "Scandalmongers" is a delightful comedy, containing a little drama and many whimsical situations. It relies on the familiar situation of the sophisticated and beautiful young woman who sets a smug village by the ■ears, fascinating the men and enraging the narrow, malicioustongued women.
