SYSTEM OF VOTING
SUGGESTIONS FOR CHANGE MR. HAMILTON'S COMMENT " I have not discussed it at all and am unable to say anything about it," said the Hon. A. Hamilton, actingMinister of Finance, yesterday, in -referring to a suggested alteration in the electoral laws. A message from Wellington published yesterday said political dircles were freely discussing the possibility of an alteration in the laws before the next election, involving, a change to some system of preferential voting. The Minister added that the matter had never been discussed formally by the Cabinet, although there had been a good deal of talk about it in the newspapers.
