NURSES IN INDUSTRY

A question which is being investigated by the Now Zealand Registered Nurses' Association is the position occupied by nurses in industry. In investigating this matter it has been found advisable to

sot up a committee in the different centres to study conditions in the various districts. Mrs. Moses, president of the Auckland branch of the association. M iss A. Bagley, Mrs. C. Knight and Miss Mirams have been appointed in Auckland as members of a committeo to investigate the opportunities offered nurses of rendering professional services in the industrial world. For some time it has been felt that many of the larger firms and more dangerous industries might find it distinctly advantageous to add a nurse to their staffs.
