BROADCAST SERVICES

Sir, —In a recent issue of the Herald someone wrote a few words of appreciation of the religious services broadcast by the Broadcasting Board, i woidd like to add that lam among-a, vast number who very much appreciate these services. I am a farmer's wife and have been a- semi-invalid for years. I have had much pleasure and encouragement from both the devotional daily service and tho various church services and I'm sure the boon to those "shut in" and to elderly people must be invaluable. I trust there will never come a time when New Zealand stations dispense with these helpful services, which are of much benefit to many unseen and unheard of. A Country Listener.
