CONSERVATIVES RETAIN CANDIDATE UNOPPOSED LONDON. .Tune 2G Sir Alan Anderson, well-known shipping magnnto and business man, has been elected unopposed as Conservative member for the City of London in the House of Commons, in consequence of the elevation of Mr. E. C. Grenfell to the peerage. The latter was returned unopposed at last general election.
