WESLEY COLLEGE DECISION "NOT ATTITUDE OF CHURCH" [BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION] CHRISTCHURCR. Tuesday That a section of the Methodist Church holding extreme pacifist views had been responsible for the discontinuance of military training at Wesley College, Paerata, was a statement made to-day by the Rev. Clarence Eaton, past president of the New Zealand Methodist Conference. Mr. Eaton said the action taken at \\ esley College had no significance as applying to the Church as a whole. Jt was entirely the action of the board of trustees of the college, and did not express the attitude of the Church.
