OBITUARY
MR. FRANK BLOTT The death occurred yesterday at the age of 07 years of Mr. Frank Blott, a well-known resident of Northcote where lie had lived for the past 22 years. Mr. Blott was born in London, and, when six weeks old, was brought to New Zealand by his parents. The family first lived at Thames and later at Gisborne. On the death of Mr. Blott's father the family removed to Ponsonby. Before going to Northcote, Mr. Blott farmed at Matamata for many years. He was an active worker for tho Northcote Presbyterian Church, being a member of Hie hoard of managers for a lengthy period. He is survived by his wife, one son, Mr. Norman Blott, and four daughters, Misses .J., L., N. and 0. Blott, all of Northcote.
MRS. ENOS HOLLOWAY [from our own correspondent] MOR RIXSVILLTC, Tuesday The death occurred at Morrinsvillo this morning of Mrs. F.nos Holloway at the age of 86 years. Mrs. Holloway rose as usual this morning, but she suffered a sudden heart attack and died almost immediately afterward. Horn in Auckland in 1819, Mrs. Holloway was prior to her marriage Miss Mary Williams and her parents were among the pioneer settlers in the province. Her marriage to Mr. Kilos Holloway took place in To Awamutu on September 21, 1866, and before coming to Morrinsvillo to reside several years ago -Mr. and Mrs. Holloway lived in various parts of the Waikato. Mr. Holloway, who will be 98 years old next month, is one of the few surviving Maori War veterans.
