WIVES ENTERTAINED
OHPHANS' CLUB FUNCTION [from our own correspondent] HAMILTON. Monday Two hundred ladies, the wives or friends of members were entertained by the Hamilton Orphans' Club on Saturday evening. Among those present were Sir .Alexander Young, Minister of Health, and members of the Te Awamutu Club. Mr. A. E. Sandford presided. An enjoyable musical programme was submitted, the contributors being Mesdames Myra Booth, H. Me Clennan, H. Absolum, Misses F. Redwood, Z. Faville, Dean T. P. Weatherhog. Messrs. H. McClennan, J. T. Battersby, H. Absolum, F. \Y. Harrison, G. Kingston and T. Barnett, Tlie evening was thoroughly enjoyed and Dr. J. B. W. Roberton, of Te Awamutu, thanked the club for the cordial reception it bad given to the Te Awamutu members.
