Monday A decision io strip the hull of the tn<j; Pelican ot' the engines ami fittings anil to hand the hull over to the harbourmaster for disposal by sinking in deep water was reached by the Gisborne Harbour Board to-day. It was disclosed that an inspection of the tun had indicated that the cost of putting it in condition for service would be prohibitive.
