CHARGE OF ASSAULT
ACCUSED REMANDED As a sequel to an argument in Ponsonby Road on Saturday evening, following which a middle-aged man, Mr. George Kllis Rose, was found lying unconscious on the footpath, Alfred Randolph Barton, aged .'52, appeared in the Police Court yesterday on a charge of assaulting Rose so as to cause actual bodily harm. Accused was remanded until to-day.
