DENTAL OFFICER'S TOUR
EUROPE AND AMERICA WELLINGTON CLINIC'S WORK [BY TELEGRAPH PRESS ASSOCIATION ] WELLINGTON, Wednesday Twelve months leave of absence lias been granted to Mr. J. B. Bibby, superintendent of the Wellington dental clinic and training school for nurses, who is leaving shortly on a trip to various countries in order to advance his studies. He will leave by the Niagara from Auckland on June 25, and proposes to visit Honolulu, the United States, England, and Norway. Mr. A. D. Bryce, dental superintendent of the Canterbury district, will be in charge in Wellington during Mr. Bibby's absence.
Referring to the work of the clinic, Mr. J. L. Saunders, director of the division of dental hygiene, said the Wellington clinic had been giving more service than any other in the Dominion, but as it had not been practicable to increase the staff of student dental nurses beyond 25 last year, and 30 this year, it was regretted that it had not been possible to attend to all who had applied. The director added that the Wellington clinic was the only one in the Dominion where chddren -below school age were being exclusively treated.
