ELECTRIC KETTLE UPSET
CHILD SEVERELY BURNED [by telegraph OWN correspondent] TAURAXGA, Tuesday A twelve-months-old child, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. T. G. Denman, was badly burned at Te Puke on Sunday. The child was playing in the kitchen and managed to grasp the cord of an electric kettle, which she pulled over. Her body, hands and feet were severely burned by the boiling water. She was immediately taken to the Te Puke Hospital. Her condition this morning was satisfactory.
