WITHDRAWAL AT WEEK-END DESTRUCTION OF REMAINDER [BY TELEGRAPH—PRESS ASSOCIATION*] WELLINGTON. Tuesday The Director-General of the Post and Telegraph Department, Mr. G. Mo Namara, announces that on the close of business on Saturday the special halfpenny, penny and sixpenny postage stamps issued to commemorate the King's Jubilee will be withdrawn from sale, and tho remaining stocks destroyed. The complete series of pictorial stamps will then bo utilised.
