WAIPAWA MURDER CASE
CONSIDERATION BY CABINET MO ACTION YET TAKEN [BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION"] WELLINGTON. Monday Tho depositions and the charge of Mr. Justice Blair to the jury, together with the report by the judge in the case of Charles William Price, who was recently found guilty at Napier of the murder of Evelyn Mary Madden, near Argyll East, in the Waipawa district, have not yet been considered by the Cabinet, but it is understood they will shortly go forward for consideration. After the Cabinet has considered the papers there will be a meeting of the Executive Council, which consists of tho Governor-General and members of the Cabinet, and a decision will be made as to whether or not the death sentence should be carried out.
