NORTH CAPE LIGHT OUT Advice has been received by the superintendent of Mercantile Marine from the master of the steamer Raretu that .North Cape light has gone out. It will be relighted as soon as possible. MAKURA FOR SAN FRANCISCO The Royal Mail liner Makura will arrive at Wellington from Sydney this morning. She will resume her voyage to Karotonga. Papeete and San Francisco to-morrow afternoon. THE CANADIAN VICTOR The Canadian Victor is reported to have cleared Sydney, Cape B-eton, on Thursday, in continuation of her voyage from Montreal to Auckland, Wellington, Melbourne and Sydney. She is due at Auckland about July 15. NAPIER STAR TO LOAD The Blue Star Line steamer Nipier Star is due from Wellington about n o'clock this morning. She will berth at Central Wharf to complete loading. She is scheduled to sail for London, via Cape Horn, at five o'clock on Thursday evening. CANADIAN SCOTTISH REPORTS The Canadian Scottish has reported by wireless that she will arrive from Halifax on Thursday. The vessel will discharge at Auckland and Wellington and she will discharge and load at Australian ports. Afterwards she will return to Auckland to complete loading for New York, Boston and Montreal. RUAHINE CLEARS CURACAO The New Zealand Shipping Company has received advice that the liner Ruahine cleared Curacao on Thursday afternoon m continuation of her voyago from London to Suva, 'Wellington, Lyttelton. Port Chalmers. Bluff and Napier. She is due at Wellington about July 11. PORT GISBORNE ARRIVES The Commonwealth and Dominion Line motor-ship Port Gisborne arrived from London yesterday morning after an uneventful voyage. The vessel is at Queen's Wharf and after unloading general merchandise for Auckland she will proceed to Wellington to complete discharge. MONOWAI FROM SYDNEY The Monowai, from Sydney, is scheduled to berth at Queen's Wharf about 4.30 o'clock this afternoon. After landing . passengers, mail and cargo she is to leave for Wellington and Sydney at eleven o'clock to-morrow night. CARGO FROM JAPAN The Melbourne Maru arrived from Wellington last evening. After completion of discharge of her cargo from Japan at King's Wharf she is scheduled to sail for Japan, Tia Sydney and Brisbane, at three o'clock this afternoon. NIAGARA ARRIVES TO-DAY The Royal Mail liner Niagara, from Vancouver, Honolulu and Suva, is expected to berth at Prince's Wharf at 10 o'clock this morning to land passengers, mail and cargo for Auckland. She is to resume her voyage to Sydney at five o'clock to-morrow evening.
