OFFICERS' CLUB FUNCTION

MANY GUESTS PRESENT

A brilliant scene was presented at the At Homo which the Officers' Club held in its rooms in Queen's Arcade on Saturday evening. The attendance of guests was very large and the scarlet coats of the officers, together with the multicoloured balloons which formed the decorations, and the soft colouring of the many charming frocks that were to be seen made the spectacle one that was full of variety and interest.

The president of the club, LieutenantColonel R..G. Milligan, and Mrs. Milligan received, the latter wearing a frock of black Chantiliv lace relieved with a rod velvet bow, and a white f'-.r coatee. Supper was served in the Hall of Industries. Included in the entertainment arranged for the evening was a film star competition, which resulted: Miss Pat Scanlan, 1; Mrs. Neville Fletcher, 2.
