DIAMOND-BACK MOTH
LOOKING FOR A REMEDY [BY TELEGRAPH PRESS ASSOCIATION] WELLINGTON, Saturday The Minister of Agriculture, Hon. C. E. Macmillan, has replied to a letter from the executive of the New Zealand Farmers' Union in regard to the diamond back moth. The Minister states that arrangements are being made with the Imperial Entomological Institute to conduct investigational work in the northern hemisphere to ascertain what parasites of the moth are likely to prove effective in New Zealand. This will require at least a year before a decision can be reached as to whether or not importations are warranted.
