NEWLY-FORMED BAND MACE FROM AUSTRALIA (Received June 10.25 p.m.) SYDNEY. June 7 A mace made of Australian woods is to be bent from Australia to the newlyformed New. Zealand Air Force Band. Sir Charles Kingsford Smith and FlyingOfficer Sheil have inaugurated the mace fund and it is expected that subscriptions will be forthcoming from the jnajority of the 27,000 former New Zealand servicemen residing in Australia.
