THEFTS BY MAORI
A Maori, John Poi-o, aged 28, pleaded guilty in the Police Court yesterday to charges of stealing a suitcase valued at £8 15s, and an overcoat, valued at £1 5s- Accused was sentenced to six months' imprisonment, to be followed by a year's reformative detention.
