THREE YEARS IN PRISON
[BY TELEGRAM —PRESS ASSOCIATION] WANGANUI, Friday A labourer, George Ernest Hannett, aged 43, married, with sis children, was found guilty after two separate trials of attempted rape and assault. He was sentenced by Mr. Justice Callan to three years' imprisonment, His Honor remarking that it was his duty to protect young women and girls.
