WINTER COMPETITIONS The Auckland Amateur Athletic and Cycle Club continued its winter meetings in the Domain on Saturday afternoon. The track was in good condition, and timeß were fairly good. In the -1000 yards steeplechase a Whangarei runner. L. Mcßenth, from the 70s mark, won rather easily. The 75 yards sprint brought out good fields in four heats, the final being won by n foot by A. D. Copeland. The discus was keenly contested, K. McMnlion, 109 ft. 10in., winning. N. V. Douglas won the shot putting with ;S7ft. Sin.
