NEW JUDGE
MR. NORTHCROFT SWORN Iff The swearing-in of Mr. E. EL Northcroft, of Auckland, as a Judge of tlya Supreme Court of New Zealand was performed by Mr. Justice Reed in his chambers yesterday afternoon. Mr. Justice Northcroft left later by the express for Wellington, where ha will commence his new duties to-day. He will remain there a short time and then leave for Christchurch, where it is likely his headquarters will be. He will open his first session on the West Coast.
