DEATH ON FERRY-BOAT

RESIDENT OF NORTHCOTE A gate-keeper employed by the Auckland Harbour Board, Mr. I-'obert Gordon, aged about 50, collapsed and died while 011 his way home ou a Northcote ferry-boat shortly after tlireo o'clock yesterday afternoon. Mr. Gordon lived in Queen Street, Northcote. On arrival at Northcote Dr. R. G. Dudding was summoned and he pronounced life extinct. Mr. Gordon, who was a married man with one child, served in the South African War and the Great War. He was a keen member of the Legion of Frontiersmen and belonged to the Masonic fraternity.
