Hedley. who bred the mare and is a part-owner, states that Worthy Nor has been showing symptoms of the ailment for a few days, but he lias hopes that it will not develop seriously enough, to cause her Cambridge engagement to be' cancelled. Worthy Nor, who is by Worthy Bond from the Auckland Cup winner Norah Creina, ia ft young trotter who should make further imwroveinent. ■ NOTES FROM EVERYWHERE TRACK AND STABLE GOSSIP The four-year-old mare Wait and Sec, by Rosewing from Liulns®, has joined C. Morse's stable at Takanini. She was previously trained at To Awamutu by A. took for Mr. C. E. Robertson, but has changed hands. Wait and See is useful and her last success was achieved in the Shaw Handicap at Paeroa. Try Luck, who is engaged in hack sprints at Hawera. is a five-year-old gelding by Lapidary from Swift Bird, by Swift Flight— Cuiragues. by Cuirassier, and is trained at Takaniui by J. W. Catliro. Try Luck has sot had a great deal of racing, but he won a couple of minor events as a three-year-old it Taurangii in March, 1933.

The nominations of Hasouli and Inflation for leading events at the Auckland Racing Club's meeting were received too late and could not bo accepted. Rasouli recorded some good performances last winter, his victories including the Winlor Hurdles at Trent)nun, and his presence would have added interest lo the jumping races at'Elierslie.

Queen Nona is a very consistent performer who rarely runs a bad race, and she is usually capable of a sound effort any time sho is produced among the hack sprinters. Queen Nona was a close third to Keith Lu and King Brierly at her last start at iauranga and slight improvement should invo her prospects of success at Hawera.

It is probable that there will be a number of Auckland horses competing at the Egmont Racing Club's meeting at Hawera.. Among the acceptors for the first day are King Win. Lucidus, Royal Secret, Queen Aona, Orac, British Columbia, Boughal, King Mcstor. Lionlieart, Te liai, Try Luck, Irishna, Kurapae and Keith Lu.

. Although he was only fourth, British Columbia ran a fine race in the Mount Eden Handicap at Av»ndalo last. Monday and added merit was given to his performance by reason of the fact that, ho went very fust early after being slow to jump out. British Columbia is due to win at any timenow and ho may race prominently a. Hawera, wliero he lias previously performed well.

To Hai created a very favourable impression when he won recently at the northern country meetings, and he is an improver who is soon likely to gain further honours. At his last start he was a little, dun cut •to control at the barrier, but he is quick to find his feet and his early brilliancy should assist him in hack sprints at Hawera. One of the rncecards gave Te Ha.i s age as five but he is actually three, having been foaled in 19:11. • ' TROTTING FIXTURES May 2, 4—Forbury Park Trotting Club. May 4, (>—Cambridge Trotting Club. May 11—Oamaru Trotting Club. May 11 —Waikato Trotting Club. June I—Waikato Trottinsr Club.
