FEWER CYCLISTS IN COURT Nearly 70 charges concerning alleged breaches of the traffic regulations were heard in the Police Court yesterday, the majority of the cases referring to infringements of the parking rules and dangerous driving. There were fewer charges against cyclists than usual. One motorist appeared for alleged dangerous driving in Queen Street, the police stating that defendant drove through the city at over 35 miles an hour in the early hours of the morning, with two passengers on the running boards of the vehicle. Defendant Avas orehired to pay cos>ts.

"You will bo lined 10s and 1 suppose you will take it from the housekeeping money," remarked the magistrate, Mr. Wyvern Wilson, when another motorist, charged with parking his vehicle with insufficient lights, said that his wife was out extremely late on the night in question and had left the garage locked.
