MOTOR REGULATIONS
AN INDIGNANT FARMER With a plan of the cab of his motortrack in his hand, William John Larking, Okato, a farmer, entered the Police Court at New Plymouth to ventilate his opinion of the Motor Vehicle Regulations. He attacked with indignation a clause _ under which he was prosecuted, requiring him to have on his lorry a rear-vision mirror in which he could see rearward traffic without turning his head. It was impossible, he said, to do that on his lorry, and he pleaded not guilty " iust to thrash the thing out."
