AMBULANCE SERVICE

HAMILTON BRIGADE'S WORK [ FROM OUR OWN CORRESPONDENT] HAMILTON. Friday There was a satisfactory attendance of members at the annual meeting of the Hamilton division of the St. John Ambulance Brigade last evening. The divisional superintendent, Mr. E. A. Houston, presided. The district officer, Mr. H. D. Cobb, said the action of the Auckland Association in taking over the hospital ambulance service would involve more work and experience for the members. .In his annual report the superintendent stated that the brigade's strength stood at 28 During the* year 192 cases had been treated by members when on public duty. Twenty members were reexamined on October 18. and all passed. Owing to lack of members the. cadet division had been disbanded. Fourteen members of the brigade had qualified for service chevrons and certificates.
