MANCHUKUO OIL
MONOPOLY RESENTED AMERICAN PROTEST WASHINGTON. April 19 The United States Government has Bent a Note to the Japanese Government reiterating its protest against the Manchukuan oil monopoly as violating the provisions of the existing treaty and as being in conflict with the "open door" policy in the Far East.
The Note is based upon the view that the oil monopoly might be extended to other products.
