MR. FORBES' TRIP

ARRIVAL AT VANCOUVER COMING LONDON PARLEYS VANCOUVER, April 19 The Prime Minister of New Zealand, Mr. G. W. Forbes, and his party arrived by the Aorangi to-day en route to the silver jubilee celebrations in Britain. They left subsequently for New York.

In an address at a Canadian Club luncheon, Mr. Forbes said he believed considerable progress might be made at the conferences in London with the problems of the New Zealand primary producer in the British market. He had always found British Ministers very fair and ready to lay their cards on the table. Referring to the New Zealand surplus, Mr. Forbes said: "We have not made things worse."
