JOCKEY DISQUALIFIED
TERM OF SIX MONTHS RUNNING OF SUNNY SONG [by telegraph—OWN correspondent] PALMERSTON NORTH. Saturday The running of Sunny Song in the Kawakawa Hurdles at Feilding today was challenged by the stipendiary steward. Sunny Song was the favourite, but she was in the rear of the field throughout the race. The judicial inquiry resulted in the disqualification of her rider, J. Walsh, for six months on the grounds .that the horse was not run on her merits.
