PRESENTATION

* A presentation of a golf bag, a set of golf balls and a tobacco jar was made on Monday to Mr. J. C. Malfroy, for 10 years clerk of the Auckland Magistrate's Court who was recently appointed to the position of registrar and sheriff of tile Supreme Court at, Auckland. The presentation was made on behalf of the three magistrates and the staff ao the Court by the senior magistrate, Mr Wyvern Wilson, who paid a tribute to Mr. Malfroy's service as clerk of the Court, -and complimented him on the distinction of having gained the "blue riband" of the clerical branch of tho Justice Department.
