HAMILTON CLUB'S RACES [FROM OUR OWN CORRESPONDENT] HAMILTON, Monday The Hamilton Rowing Club held trial fours races on Saturday afternoon. In the final A. Jenkinson, G. Taylor, K. Williams and D. Patterson defeated W. Walker, B. Sandos, B. Peart and C. Howe by one and ahalf lengths. CLOSING DAY AT WHAKATANE [by telegraph—OWN correspondent] WHAKATANE, Monday The closing day of the Whakatnno Rowing Club's season took place in 'lio weekend, when members took part in racos for the Armstrong Cup. The final heat resulted in a win for Hayward, Shannon, F, Brown and A. Marshall, stroke.
