ALLEGED JEALOUSIES CHIEF SCOUT'S OBSERVATIONS VANCOUVER. April 12 In an address to the Canadian at Victoria. British Columbia, the Chief Scout, Lord Baden-Powell, referred to the Scout jamboree held in Australia in January. He said: "The States of Australia are extremely jealous of each other. Close by are small countries > fairly bursting their bounds with their eyes turned to Australia. "If the Australian people are divided among themselves they will not stand.
"When the Scouts came together in camp, however," added Lord BadenPowell, "they were given a gqod idea that they were Australians, net Queenslanders or Victorians."
