OVERSEAS LEAGUE
MEMBERS AT HOME The lounge of the Overseas League rooms, which was decorated with Michaelmas daisies and dahlias, was the scene of a bright and enjoyable gathering on Saturday evening when the members held their first visitors' night of the season. Bridge, mah jongg and five hundred were played. Guests were welcomed on arrival by Mrs. A. E. French (convener), Mrs. M. Smart (secretary), Miss Slater and Miss D. Harty. Supper was served in the dining room and library by members of the committee. Prize winners were Miss McKeage, Mr. Williams, Mrs. .1. Thuell, Mrs. S. W. Laing and Miss Swale, bridge; Miss E. Scott, mah jongg; and Mrs. E. Bradley, five hundred.
