M. Elliffe, presiding. The report and balance-sheet, a summary of which appeared in the Hebalo on March 14., were adopted. Players may choose partners, but opponents will be drawn ot the clubhouse., . HELENSVILLE CLUB'S YEAR . [by telegraph—own correspondent] HELENSVILLE. Thursday The annual meeting of the Helensvillc Golf Club was held last evening, when the annual report and balance-sheet were presented. The president's report showed that the club had had a, very successful season and that its status had been greatly improved by the acquisition °f thejiew nnks. This year it was recommended that, u possible, a number of inter-club matches wil;h outside clubs should be arranged. It was decided also, if possible, to secure the services of a coach during the coming season. The election of officers .resulted:— Patron. Mr. J. A. Wilson; president, Mr. A. to. L Dodd; vice-presidents, Mr. C. G. Sandm and Mr. R. Screaton; joint secretaries and treasurers, Mr. John Grey and Miss Sheffield; club captain, Mr. C. G. Sandra; handicapper and match secretary, Mr. K. G. Craig; honorary auditor, Mr I. iJrocK. committee, officials ex officio, with the addition of Miss Peebles,. Mrs. Sandm, and Messrs. Paton and Raines. • The official opening will be held on Saturday, April 13.
