lEND OF HIS CAREER EXTRADITION UNLIKELY Times Cable LONDON, March 13 The Athens correspondent of the Times says M. Venizelos' career and the revolution terminated simultaneously. A feature of the celebrations in Athens was a large gibbet, carried by the crowd on which hung his skull-capped effigy. A message from Rome says it is officially stated that M. Venizelos is a free man and may leave Rhodes Island when he likes. It is not expected that Greece will demand his extradition, which in any caso would bo refused by Italv. ATTEMPTED SUICIDE REBEL OFFICER'S WOUND THE AVEROFF SURRENDERED ATHENS. March 13 Lieutenant Perdisa was found seriously wounded by a revolver shot on board the rebel submarine of which he was commander. It is believed that ho preferred suicide to a trial by eourtmartictl. He was taken to a hospital at Rhodes-Island by aeroplane. The cruiser Averoff arrived at Salami's to-day and was surrendered to the authorities.
