APPEARANCES IN FILMS FRANCE OPPOSES PROPOSAL PARIS, March 12 The council of the French Tennis Federation has'empowered its representatives in the International Federation to oppose the Czecho-Slovakian proposal to permit amateurs to appear in films. The Dutch and German Federations oppose the proposal as being against the amateur ideal, but are of the opinion that a lengthier discussion is necessary.
